There are huge time savings to be had. With free IDE's there tends to be a lot more bugginess in general, gaps and things to work through.

As a Salesforce developer and consultant saving a couple of hours a month because the IDE is solid equals additional billable hours and reduction in frustration which is far in excess of the monthly fee.

There is a learning curve involved but there are a lot of videos that help with the features and its worth it when you get to the promised land.

The reason I use TWS is because it works out of the box. I don’t have to fiddle with it I don’t have to make config changes it just works.

As a developer debug, is nice but I think the best feature is auto competition. It saves me time and effort. The next best feature is the support that you all give us. Put in a bug report and you guys are all over it and a fix is out the door as soon as it is ready.

That is why I use TWS.

It is being used by our developers to customize the Salesforce platform. We have used a variety of IDE's in the past and have seen the Welkin Suite on and off throughout the years and decided to give it a try when our last IDE last support by the provider. It is well suited to development-oriented projects.

I find it faster to use the native Salesforce UI for more configuration projects. There are a number of tools in the suite that I have not used and probably could get more value out of it, but it has served well as my primary IDE for the last few months.
